Chicago BiFold offers a wide range of accordion folding bifold window and door configurations. Our aluminum bifold panels fold to one or both sides of the opening, and swing to either the interior or exterior of the building.  Because of options such as transoms, sidelites, man-doors and more, we can design custom configurations with the look you want and the features you need.

We stock Clear and Dark Bronze anodized aluminum finishes with a number of additional anodized finishes and standard painted colors. Blended standard and custom colors are also available, providing you with an infinite variety of aluminum colors for your folding glass walls. Our options for glass types are also endless. Standard glass types are 1⁄4″ clear, grey, green-blue and bronze tinted, tempered, or 1″ insulated clear, grey, green or blue or bronze tinted, tempered, creating beautiful glass walls.

Steel tie-rod assembly gives our accordion doors and windows their incredible endurance. This results in our tie-rod assembly being as durable as welded corner construction, while superior in many ways. No other commercial bifold door or window offers you this much strength and flexibility.

Our exterior folding bifold panels are hung on mortised continuous geared hinges and carried by overhead guide trolleys. Standard hinges have a load rating of up to 600 lbs., and our heavy-duty hinge has a rating of up to 1,000 lbs. Therefore our trolleys can carry up to 250 lbs each, providing plenty of strength to carry our commercial-grade bifold panels.
