About Chicago BiFold
With decades of experience in the glazing industry, we’d seen our share of bifold products that were complicated and expensive. We knew we could manufacture a simpler, more effective folding glass wall product at a lower cost.
Nearly 20 years ago we designed our first aluminum bifold for a neighborhood bar in Chicago. The owner wanted to give his guests the feeling of being outside, so we designed and built a six-panel, 16 ft wide accordion bifold window. The owner later told us his business doubled after adding our bifold to his space.
Since then we have manufactured thousands of commercial bifold window and door panels. Our products appear in hundreds of restaurants, bars, auto showrooms, movie theaters and various other project types across the United States.

From quoting to delivery, we take a simple path with clear communication along every step of the way.
Discovery
We’ll discuss project specifics with your team to determine what you wish to achieve with our aluminum accordion-folding bifold doors. As a result, we can provide exterior solutions that make the most sense for your space.
Concepting
Our detailed quotation includes all manufacturing features. In addition, it includes a quotation drawing that shows an elevation drawing and the product. Once you are satisfied and have confirmed all the details, we’ll make any last adjustments to the drawing, making sure it is an exact, clean and final drawing.
Production
Upon approval of the final drawing, we begin the manufacturing process. We offer some of the fastest lead times in the industry. Therefore, your aluminum bifolds will be ready before you know it!
Testing & Delivery
All Chicago BiFold commercial windows and doors are tested in our facility prior to shipment. This ensures the utmost quality and function. All of our bifolds are shipped in heavy-duty crates via reputable freight carriers for timely and damage-free delivery to your installation contractor or jobsite across the country.
